Welcome

I have been taking photographs for over 25 years, since getting my first camera as a christmas present. Some of the pictures in this site are from those early days and have been scanned using a primefilm scanner for negatives and slides, although they are not brilliant in quality they have some value in there content due to the lack of different locomotives on the modern railway. However when they were taken I had the same feelings towards 37's and 47's that appear to be here today towards the class 66's, not another 47 I would say or another 37 how boring, today they make my day, yesterday I would have put the camera away. In 1981 I hated the HST's for what they did to the Deltics, today I go out to photograph them not knowing how much longer they will be around.
